Interested in joining our events?

Ecosystem Experience Tour Series
Join knowledgeable volunteers from the Watershed Stewardship Working Group to explore the beauty and diversity of the rivers, creeks, wetlands and old growth forests in this valley we call home on Haisla Territory.

All hikes are free. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
Meet at Riverlodge activity room for all hikes and carpool from there. If you need transportation from Kitimaat Village or Kitimat please let us know. Call Riverlodge or email [email protected] with questions.
These tours are family-friendly and for a wide range of abilities. Contact us at [email protected] regarding specific accessibility needs.
Wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, bug repellent and sunscreen. Bring cameras, water, snacks, allergy mediation if you need it, and bear spray if you have it.
